Wait if your heart is saying wait

But you’ll have to wait here alone

Take if your heart is saying take

But I doubt if you are really at home

Cruise if your heart is saying cruise

But you’re cruising to a soul-less confusion

Sue if your heart is saying sue

But your gaining in the end is a losing

All to keep you there securely on your throne

What if life is its fullest when unknown?

When it stretches faith to grow?

What if I’d heed the guilt I’ve said was wrong

Cause it didn’t make me warm

To my cozy comfort zone?

Spend if your heart is saying spend

But your heart could be a self-made delusion

Sin if your heart is saying sin

But you’ll have to face your self-willed confusion

As you sleep there, self-deceived and self unknown

Eat if your heart is saying eat

But are you taking bread from somebody’s children?

Drink if your heart is saying drink

But have you drunk too much to know what you’re missing

In your half-life, grave-like comfort zone?

What if life is its fullest when unknown?

When it stretches faith to grow?

What if I’d heed the guilt I’ve said was wrong

Cause it didn’t make me warm

To my cozy comfort zone?
